PORT NOLA Strategic Master Plan
The Port of New Orleans’ Strategic Master Plan envisions significant, sustained economic benefit throughout the Port’s jurisdiction and across all its lines of business over the next 20 years, with significant investments in existing facilities and new assets.
Port Inner Harbor Economic Revitalization Plan (PIER Plan)
Port NOLA and the City of New Orleans have partnered on a two-year effort to develop a new economic vision for the Inner Harbor corridor, funded by an EPA Brownfields Area-Wide Planning program. The Port Inner Harbor Economic Revitalization Plan (PIER Plan) will pave the way for new job creation and job connections, increased commerce and greater industrial viability overall. The project area includes the entire Inner Harbor, with catalyst sites for focused planning — two portions around the Florida Avenue Turning Basin, and property at 7300 Jourdan Rd.
After many months of rigorous analysis and stakeholder engagement, Port NOLA is seeking comments on the Draft Port Inner Harbor Economic Revitalization Plan (PIER Plan). The draft document is now available.
